In a bid to attract more Indian businesses, Indo American Chamber of Commerce
(IACC), Gujarat branch organized a programme on ‘Everything You Wanted To
Know About Business Visa' by Christopher McCabe, vice counsel from US consulate
in Mumbai, to speak on the subject at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) on
Thursday. The IACC is the bilateral chamber of commerce in India for development
of Indo-US business relations.
The objective of this meeting was to
discuss the emerging business opportunities of Indian and US businessmen. McCabe
shared his experience and gave information regarding the B1, B2 & H category
visas which are popular among businessman. He said, "Gujarat as a
business-oriented state of India endeavours to create a platform to enable the
business developments and opportunities for commerce between the two
countries."
Regarding the global recession, he said that there will
be ups and downs in the market but to promote people to people contact and
business ties between India and US, IACC will be embarking on sensitisation
programmes.The programme was well attended by IACC members, industrialists and
entrepreneurs.
