JAIPUR: Fifteen-year-old Devesh Meghwar had no idea that a cricket match with his friends would cost him his life. He died after he was hit with a bat on his head by his friend at a playground in front of Government College under Junction police station in Hanumangarh district on Tuesday evening.

According to the police, some friends were playing cricket on Tuesday evening, when they had a dispute over who would bat first. Things took an ugly turn when one Arjun (also a minor) hit Devesh with a bat. The boy fell down unconscious.

His other friends rushed to Devesh’s house to tell his parents about the incident.
