PATNA: A cultural extravaganza, `Virasat-2008', was organized by Patna Women's College (PWC) on its premises on Wednesday. Duet semi-classical dance competition was part of the function.

A three-member jury, comprised of Ameeta Jaiswal, Joyita Das and Amrita Chowdhary. The duet song `Mere dholna na ...' sung by Shrinza and Anubhuti, bagged the first position, while song sung by Riju and Archana was adjudged second and the third position went to team comprising Sambedna and Richi for the song `Jiya jale...'

College principal Sister Dorris D'Souza gave away prizes to the winners and exhorted students to take every opportunity as challenge to prove their creativity. The function was compered by Pragya Singh and Anamika Kumari. After the competition, an orchestra group, `Hijackers', regaled the audience with hit songs of the latest movies.
