the ‘F’–word, honeys. It seems to be frightening the
heebie-jeebies off the stars. More so of the female brigade. The gals seem
terrified of the Big ‘F’ – and we mean Friday Fears here,
sweeties.
It’s the day
when even filmi friends turn feudal foes; when stakes run high and one beauty
gets thrown-over for another; and critics have a field day, too. So many
‘Fs’, huh? Even we, the media, bask in the feeding-frenzy. Example:
As recently as the pre-release promos of Fashion, the leading beauties, Priyanka
Chopra and Kangana Ranaut, had some lovely things to say about each other. But
post-release, rumours are rife that this fresh dosti has gone slightly
off-the-ramp. We heard that at the Fashion success party, the gals timed their
entry and exit in such a way that they didn’t cat-cross each others’
paths.
While Priyanka and
Mugdha Godse stole the show, Kangana disappeared behind the scene (we hear the
action is even better out there. Isn’t it, Madhur?). Well, Kangana’s
friends have a different kahani for us. The truth is that Kangana came in at
9.30 (that’s fashionable early, na?) finished her press interviews and
then quickly left for home, as she had to travel early the next morning.
K’s mommy had kept a mannat for her, so she had to visit the Kul-Devi
temple in Manali. Hmmnn... all this could just be a publicity stunt, who knows?
Though this ‘catty-fight’ style is fast going outta fashion. And if
at all the gals have had a genuine fall-out, c’mon babes, just kiss and
make-up. We all love happy-endings, no? Whether Madhur likes it or not ... Maybe
it’ll incite John and Abhishek to kiss again too, LOL!
